Forró at PA58
Forró is a Brazilian pair dance with a rich culture; it encompasses various dance types and musical genres. Originating in northeastern Brazil, Forró has spread to urban dance studios and across the globe, leading to diversification in music and dance styles while maintaining its rural roots.

Universities have played an important role in popularizing the dance; with the export version often called Forró Universitário. Forró is a relatively close dance, encouraging subtle movements and inviting leaders to connect with the followers' vibes or reverse roles.

At Prinzenallee, we're a bunch of Forró aficionados who like to dance in the spirit of a picnic. Everyone is welcome, we offer affordable drinks, but appreciate donations to help cover the costs of maintaining our sound system and other minor expenses.
This venue is run entirely by volunteers because we believe in keeping our hobby non-commercial and accessible to all. On Tuesdays, everyone can be a princess.
